![]() ![]() ![]() Question regarding HDE: was it the only one 'confusing' the Link, which thought it was a steam controller, or were both usb dongles doing the same? After that, Steam Link saw the controller (although it does not seem to realize that the controller is not a steam controller, which might explain why the digital pad is not working.) The only other initial setup step involved putting the controller into sync mode and then pressing the sync button on the dongle. I did buy a new dongle-two, actually: the official one, and the HDE knockoff you'll likely see on Amazon-and they both work. Since I'd been using the thing on my pc so long, I never really looked at it, but it's death was confirmed by the LED (on the dongle) no longer lighting up, so at the risk of sounding obvious, make sure that's actually working.
